TARANGIRE SAFARI FOR 4
Tarangire National Park Day Trip
Tarangire is a quiet park in Northern Tanzania. Located off the main safari route, Tarangire is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania’s Manyara Region. It is better known for its large elephant herds and various bird species. It also has a healthy population of Lions and the other usual suspects of the Tanzanian Savana. Tarangire is a very underrated park and is uncrowded and untamed. Which provides a serene environment for game viewing, birding and radiates authentic safari atmosphere.
We will pick you up from your location (within Arusha or agreed distance from Tarangire). If you are staying at our lodge in Manyara, you will be provided a good breakfast and will collect a lunchbox for the trip ahead. We aim to get you into the gates by 9-10 am, meaning you will get an excellent full day of game viewing. Lunch will be at the viewpoint at 1:00 pm. Here you will be able to relax over the view of the river and the wildlife. We aim to leave the park at about 5:00 pm to return home.
Park fees, transport in open roofed 4×4, professional English speaking driver guide, guide allowances, excursions as per itinerary, full day game drive – 2 Lt of water per person per day during safari.
Accomodation costs, beverages ( not water), alcoholic drinks, items of person, tips.
By TANAPA rules we need to pay for access to the parks before we enter. We do ask for payment at least 72h before travel. If payment is recieved for the trip less than 72h before the trip is planned, we will request that you pay for the gate entrance directly at the park with your own visa card. This is due to legislation where only prepayment for entry to all tanzanian national parks. It takes us about 48h to arrange pre-payment at the local park offices.
